Open Doors

A late post for December 22.

1. Lord, You are always faithful. Thank You for letting me realize all the open doors for the serpent to gain access to my soul. This day was indeed a great day to renew everything! May You always guide and lead me so I can be your instrument and may Your walls of protection be around us.

2. Sunrise weddings could be a great idea. I have witnessed the renewal of vows of a 14-year marriage! What a blessing in sight!

3. More errands, one at a time. Few more to go. Just have that patience for heavy traffic and long queues in the market.

Spilling Over

1. My spirit is lifted, all praises to You, Lord. My heart is just overwhelmed.

The Start of an Annual Reunion

1. Teary-eyed relatives have come to rejoice the beginning of the annual clan reunion. It was a blessing to trace the blood line after so many years and to be able to bond with everyone.

Memoirs

1. Energizer. It goes on and on and on... I felt that today while cleaning the house. Thank You for the energy!

3. I am grateful for memories. As I was rummaging through a lot of stuff today, I was always in a state of gratitude for all that's happened. The experiences have helped me become who I am now.

a. Submit to God so you can chase the devil away when vultures of life try to take the blessings from you, like how Abram did when he was making his offering in Genesis 15.

b. "You alone can bless me all because of Your grace."

c. Always believe no matter how impossible it feels. Abram believed that God will make him the father of many descendants even when he did not have a single child at that time. And so God fulfilled his promise because Abram had faith.

2. It was great to see old friends during the wedding rehearsal.

3. A visit to Don Henrico's concluded the day, thank You for the moment.

Spic-and-Span

1. One errand at a time, thank You for giving the time to accomplish things.

2. Thank You for the determination to tidy things up and the energy required to do it.

3. And praise God for being able to see and hear or else watching movies would not have been possible.

Cuddle and Coffee

1. Morning breeze in my hometown is amazing! The all-day cool climate also adds to the appetite for more sleep. Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle.

2. Family discussion over a meal is the best! This is what I keep missing everytime I am away.

3. I am always looking for a soup-based meal. For now, just enjoying hot coffee with Dad. Really priceless.

Heaven Come Down

1. I just could not ask for more, O, Lord. The heavens poured out Your blessings today. Thank You for this moment. I know heavens is rejoicing right now for my uncle and cousin. It is one of the best Christmases! :)

Servants By Heart

1. I thank God for debit cards, they are credit cards' plan B.

2. Thank You Lord for witnessing and for having the experience to be in an event. I am amazed by how the boys work without complain for more than 12 hours from initial setup to packing up. In fact, they find the fun in what they do. Praise God for it reminds me of little things, of finding joy in whatever we do.

3. Glory to You who always showers blessing such as food to eat and share.

1. It is about time to inhale the cool scent of pine trees! Ahh, and fresh air! Thank You for bringing me home safe and sound.

Embrace Diversity

1. My 2-year attendance to the cultural diversity quiz produced fruit when they asked the same question asked last year, which I was able to get it right this time, regarding the number of gold coins found in the Las Arras, an element of a Christian wedding. As expected, it was a super fun experience.

2. The day has come for me to fly! Thank God for traveling mercies.

1. Had the most authentic Thai food so far near office! And then a good longwalk after a satisfying lunch to my town.

2. Purchased 3 pieces of shining, shimmering, splendid hot red dresses for tomorrow's dress rehearsal.

3. Was able to meet the organizers for December 7's charity event and completed ocular inspection of the dancing area. We should be able to manage the spacing.

Freeloading

1. I had a wonderful lunch with our external supplier. It was great to see him again as a friend. :)

2. Thank you that we were able to settle our costumes for this coming Friday's Bollywood dance item. Whew!

1. Thank you for the windy, relaxing weather where the rain was battling with the sun. It helped while we were busy pumping our hearts out.

Step Step Step

1. Chinatown has again proved that it is the best town! I discovered an awesome shop of beads, sequences, and shiny accessories for our performance!

2. The full dress rehearsal went very well. We learnt how to manage mistakes just in case we commit them on the day. Great job for everyone!

3. Thank you for stamina and strength! 26,492 steps! :)

Darkness

1. Annually, my building makes an announcement that there will be no electricity for an entire night to do a routine maintenance. I believe that they have timed it very well because it is Singapore's rainy season. Thank God I was able to manage to sleep without air-conditioning or fan.

2. With just a week left, we are able to complete the steps for our dance. It just now up to us to memorize the sequence (thumbs up).

3. It is a great time for MockingJay movie. And a bit of a long walk to get to the right bus stop after midnight.

Keep Moving

1. Thank you for opportunities to meet old friends. Thank you that people do not forget in spite of busy lives.

2. I am likewise grateful for a sensible talk with a friend about life. This world is indeed your creation with people having different thoughts and fears.

1. Such a blessing again to be able to squeeze into the crowd of shoppers during the Converse Warehouse Sale!

2. Today is a super productive day in terms of dancing. Rehearse here. Rehearse there! And the team is getting better overall!

3. We had fun with the purple color today to support the Purple Parade movement, which focuses on the abilities of people with special needs. :)

Simple Joys

Everything has its own place under heaven.

1. Thank you for the chance to reconnect ourselves with Mother nature. These animals You have created are amusing, impressive, and are just truly amazing! The weather was also pleasant and just perfect. Thank you.

2. I am super grateful for a wonderful birthday dinner party with relatives! Great food ranging from spaghetti, palabok, kare-kare, barbecue to pandan salad, fresh fruit mix, and yema cake. I have not had the Filipino barbecue in a while and it was so yummy!

3. Likewise, thank you for new friends! Lord, impress to me the confirmation of what has been discussed today. You know what I mean, Lord. :)

Unending Blessings

You never stop giving blessings, O, Lord.

1. Preaching today emphasized on not storing earthly treasures, surrender, and come to Jesus for rest. Thank you, Lord, for an awesome message. I want this kind of rest that you give. I have learnt today that we do something in this world, not because we are obliged to do it, but because we want to do it out of love. Amen!

2. In the dance space today, it is a productive day as we have almost finalized everything and people have been very cooperative. You have only allowed these things to happen. 

3. The charity that invited us to perform has provided budget for costumes. This was not even in the original plan but it is a blessing for them to sponsor that and I am grateful. I want to have a contented heart.

A Well-Planned Drill

1. Today started funny. Everyone was aware of the fire drill. And as in the past, it happened in the mornings. Thus, most people decided to come in late knowing that the grounds and the lift lobby would be packed with people. The weird thing was that no announcements nor notices were posted anywhere in the building about the status and timing of the drill. Even to me, I thought it may not happen at all. So, I came in at the perfect time IF the fire drill would have happened. 

The mindset of each was to finish the day's task when suddenly by mid-afternoon, the building's bell rang, when most of the people were glued to their screen. Now, they've got the perfect timing! :)

2. Our costumes are ready for shipping after some issue with the shipping address provided by seller. Whew, finally.

3. I consider scouting for the Charity event costumes as a good walk. I pray the organizer would approve the budget.

Full of Joy

Stay amazed at the things God is doing in our lives.

1. Thank you for little children who do not need to make an effort to be cute! My 2-year old niece can now sing twinkle, twinkle little star!

2. The weather was pleasant today. Cool. Rain has come to visit and has enjoyed its stay in Singapore.

3. Finding the fun in dancing brings a lot of joy! Thank you for being able to do this.

Looking Forward

We do not know what tomorrow may bring but rest assured that He has the best plan for us.

1. Couldn't ask for more benefits. Thank you for being able to avail of free medical services.

2. Pain reminds you that you are not a rock or an iron bar. Just take things easy. And wear proper attire. :)

3. Thank you, Mister Optimism, hope is always there in everything. Never give up on things because you may have traveled very far and it may be too late to quit. Hang in there.

Change and Passion

1. Change is constant. Change is good. Yes, it makes you become more adaptive and alert. Because of this, I have learned to rock with the boat.

2. Thank you for having a passion. Nothing can stop me from doing what I love.

3. Tea breaks are not just about tea. It becomes a bonding moment among friends. And of course, a good break from work.

Living at Peace

1. One after the other, Your messages remain constant for a stubborn heart like mine. Surrender. Yes, You always ask me to surrender all worries because I need to just trust in You. Thank you.

2. Diversity indeed plays an important role in the society. It has broadened my understanding of the different aspects of life and I am not limited to what I think is true or correct. Thank God for Thai food! :)

3. Eighth class has gone and still super fun to learn another language. Extremely grateful for a patient teacher!

Reaching Out

You are good, all the time!

1. Technology can really be amazing and learning how to use it makes it all the more exciting. Stitching songs is now creative, fun, and easy!

2. Like how the Zumba network says, "ditch the workout, join the party!" Yeah, we have agreed to perform in a charity event as way of sharing happiness that we have and at the same time, pump our hearts out with a lot of fun!

3. I guess nobody can ever resist sweets. Well, I don't really have sweet-tooth but cheesecake and a really awfully chocolaty one? I can always consider.

Surrender

The inability to cease worrying is the inability to trust in the Lord.

1. I am grateful for the gifts You give such as talents. May this serve as an instrument in reaching out to others.

2. Your timing is always perfect, we just have to trust You in all your plans. Thank you for the reminder to surrender my worries to You.

3. Thank you for the fellowship You keep blessing us with. You have Your reasons for bringing us all together.

Teach My Heart

God's ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

1. Thank you, Lord, for allowing catch-up session with friends. Priorities may have changed but it is worth treasuring the moment that was shared.

2. Only through Your grace that I maintain an open mind. Teach my heart, O Lord, not to be stubborn but to be more understanding.

3. Praise God for shoes! A lot of roaming was done from city to east then back to city. This is to gladly end the awooo month.

Little Act of Kindness

1. I get touched when someone remembers to give you something even if you are not really that close with that person. At least not yet.

2. I thank God for articles floating around in the internet. Some make good advice and can make you think things over.

3. Thank you, Lord, for the existence of fellowship. In our midst, You are there.

Patience Is The Key

I thank God for:

1. The daily reminder He brings about how to live according to His will. It is now up to me to apply it to my life. So Lord, please help me.

2. The conflicts as these greatly test one's patience and they allow one to conduct a self-check with regards to pride.

3. Being able to hear because I cannot just live without music! :)
